Just another revisit to the town for second time.

Khas buat rakan-rakan yang mengenali saya sekitar tahun 1973 hingga 1978.

Entah apa mimpi saya menjadikan Whatapps sebagi medan untuk bertemu semula rakan-rakan yang sama menuntut di Sekolah Rendah Larkin 1, Johor Bahru.

15Jun2016 dengan berbekal hanya 5 nombor telefon bimbit  rakan-rakan yang dapat dikesan menerusi pelbagai cara termasuk Facebook, mengumpulkan rakan-rakan X-Larkin 1 bagi sessi 1973-1978 berjaya diusahakan.Hingga kini, hampir 40 orang telah dapat dihubungkan antara satu sama lain. Sehari sebelum itu, saya telah dihubungi rakan sekampung yang ingin menganjurkan reunion bersempena hari raya bagi bekas pelajar sessi 1974-1979 dan tugasan saya hanya sebagai pengacara majlis. Tak lebih dari itu.

Keinginan untuk bertemu rakan-rakan yang terpisah lebih 3 dekad ternyata menjadi kenyataan setelah tawaran untuk menyertai Majlis Tautan Kasih Bekas Pelajar Larkin 1, Johor Bahru  Batch 74-79 dibenarkan.

Respon daripada rakan-rakan amat mengalakkan walaupun tidak semua khasnya yang bermaustatin di Lembah Klang sama sekali tidak dapat turut serta.

16Julai 2016 adalah hari yang bersejarah buat semua rakan-rakan yang berkesempatan untuk bersama-sama menjayakan majlis tersebut.

Dengan berbekalkan keazaman dan keinginan untuk berjumpa rakan-rakan sekolah, ruangan KENALAN TERPISAH akhbar Kosmo telah mencari sasaran untuk menemui seramai yang mungkin.

LAMBAIAN KAABAH..MADINAH 30DEC15

Salam semua,
(Diucapkan terimakasih diatas doa semua ahli keluarga dan rakan-rakan di seluruh dunia buat kami sekeluarga untuk menunaikan Umrah dengan sempurna).

Cabaran pertama bermula dengan kelewatan pesawat A380 milik Penerbangan Malaysia meneruskan perjalanan kami ke Madinah (penerbangan terus hasil usahasama bersama Tabung Haji dan MAB).
Berlepas jam 11.45 pagi (lewat hampir 1 jam 45 min) tidak melembatkan semangat kami (bersama-sama 40 rakan-rakan yang turut serta di dalam kumpulan MR Travel yang dikendalikan oleh Ustaz Mustaqim dan dibimbing oleh Ustaz Dr.MIA dan turut serta seorang artis tempatan).

Seperti dijangka, dengan sejumlah 489 orang dalam pesawat, akhirnya pesawat mendapat kelulusan terbang pada jam 12.30 tengah hari (takeoff time).



Jam 4.30 petang waktu tempatan, Kapten Farid Ahmad dan pembantunya mengakhiri tugasnya setelah pesawat mendarat di Madinah.Alhamdulillah.

Historical city of Malacca.

The day most of us waited for.As you know (common  phrase to tell a story to someone..reminds us of the English class that we attended in 1984).

Administrated the WhatsApp group very well, Saidi managed to create a forum for exchanges of news among us, sharing some valuable information and not to forget old memories whilst we were in college thirty years ago.

The idea mooted by our known professor in town, Prof Dr. Zie and Zaharah and well supported by our general in Malacca, DYJ.

Held in the busiest part of the city, surrounded by tourist all over the world, the event took place in the late afternoon of Friday 12Jun2015.

The stay at Quayside Hotel was indeed a good one. The dinner at Halia Inc with the main meal of Nasi Ambeng and Asam pedas fulfilled the attendees.

FRANKFURT...A WEEKEND TRIP IN MARCH 2015..PART 1

13MAR15-KUALA LUMPUR.       It was Friday evening that the flight took off to another destination in Europe.Frankfurt, one of the cities in Germany. It was my second destination after Berlin in Germany.It was a weekend trip for my family. The flight was packed with almost seats taken for the 11 hours journey.Arrived safely around 7 am at Frankfurt Airport. Weather is around 4 degree celcius.Very cold. We were welcome by our colleague Marvin who based in Frankfurt. We took train to the city (main railway station ) to place our baggages at the hotel nearby.

SATURDAY 14MARCH 2015- FRANKFURT

The first day trip. We took the coach to the first destination, the Wertheim Village. It took about 1hours and 10 minutes to reach the factory outlet. It was green scenery all the way with little sunshine to cheer the day.

SUNDAY15MAR15

It was total closure for the shopping complex in Frankfurt for Sunday. We spent exploring the city by the hop-on hop-off bus to see all interesting places in Frankfurt.

Museums, Old town of Frankfurt, the financial center and the tall buidings and also nice bridges around the city.Being the early bird and catched the first bus in front of the main railway station, we were treated special as we were the only four passengers on board. The friendly driver was very helpful in telling us the way we should treat our Sunday bus trip. Started with the full 40 minutes to cover all places in the city, we later decided to get off at the old city of Frankfurt to buy souveniers.
